Accepting a place

Upon accepting a place for your child at our preschool, families are asked to make an orientation visit. Mornings are encouraged so that the child and family are able to see all aspects of the programme in action.

On this visit parents will complete Enrolment and Conditions forms, and be given Child Care Rebate information.

The family is shown the preschool by the Director, (indoor/outdoor, lockers, bathroom, signon/out books, information table, notice board) and the daily programme is explained in detail.

All staff are introduced, and the parents have the opportunity to ask questions.

Allocating places

We allocate placed in the preschool from our waiting list. Priority of access will be given to :

Working parents - where single/both parents are employed, seeking employment, or studying for future employment.

Children or parents having a continued disability or incapacity.

Children at risk of serious abuse or neglect.

Parents at home with more than one child below school age.
