Parent Involvement

Our aims

To encourage parents to actively participate in the care of their children through involvement in decision making with regards to their child's care and education.

To provide resources for parents.

To respect individual families needs and differences.

To promote friendly, comfortable and co-operative relationships between parents and staff through daily contact.

How can I be involved?

Parents are welcome in the preschool at any time. 

Parents are encouraged to actively participate in the programme, share their skills and be part of the decision making process. 

Our staff believe parents are the most important people in their child's life. Therefore staff encourage communication, welcome parent's input and are happy to discuss any issues that arise.

Some suggested ways you can be involved:

Spend a morning at the preschool

Do a special activity (especially cooking/song/story/dance from different cultures). 

Attend parent meetings and interviews.

Help on excursions.

Paint faces on party days.
